Coffee House Anarchists might just change your mind. CHA is made up of two brothers who have been playing together ever since rock and roll first burst into their lives. They later decamped to the South of France from the UK with no real plan other than to conquer the world with their music. There the line up was completed by a French bass player who also liked the idea of leaving real employment.
Since the fledgling beginnings CHA has developed from a guitar based indie group to one that has found maturity in a far more contemporary sound. CHA constantly seek to push their creative limits with each new recording. The band has moved from electro pop, post-

Coffee House Anarchists release new track ‘One For Sorrow’. It has an acoustic feel that continues to use elements of traditional folk mixed with modern production. The lyrics are based on a 16th century nursery rhyme connected with counting the number of magpies seen in a day. Sonically there is a dark, brooding undercurrent to the song that is tied to a sparse production. Available and out now.
